Native American Dancer and Drummer Family Fun Night

Native American Dancer and Drummer Family Fun Night

5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

On Wednesday, July 20th from 6 pm to 8 pm, the IQhub will host a special family night that includes Native American dancers and drummers (The IQhub will be open at 5 pm to enjoy the displays before the presentation). One of the most beautiful things about Native American culture is the unique quality of Native American dance. To the untrained eye, these Native American dances may look like nothing more than interesting movements designed to match the rhythm of a song. On the contrary, dances in this culture each have a deeper purpose and significance. Native Americans use dance as a way to connect with each other and honor longstanding traditions. After each performance, the dancers will explain the meaning of the dance.

As always, admission to the IQhub is free to the public. The IQhub is open weekly Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm and 10 am to 8 pm on July 20th and August 18th. For more information on Native American Ways, please contact the IQhub at 989-227-3847 or email

The IQhub is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose primary purpose is to be a free educational center for agricultural history, innovation and exploration.
