Art Explosion! presented by The IQhub

Art Explosion, presented by Mercantile Bank, returns after thousands of visitors enjoyed the unique exhibit in 2021. The event will run from November 29, 2022 through February 24, 2023 with special events each month. Admission to the Art Explosion event is free.

Local artists are invited to display their works and examples of artwork entered previously include paintings, pottery, drawings, wood carvings, metal sculpture, photography and jewelry. Entries may be listed for sale.

Throughout the three month long event, members of the public are invited to vote on their favorite piece of art. A very special Indoor Winter Farmers Market will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Vendor space is available now. In January, join us for Artist Invasion on Thursday, January 26 from 6 pm to 8 pm. Art Explosion will conclude on February 24, 2023 with an artist “Meet & Greet” and people’s choice awards.

As always, admission to the IQhub is free to the public. The IQhub is open weekly Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm. The IQhub is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose primary purpose is to be a free educational center for agricultural history, innovation and exploration.
